The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical, process-oriented person who naturally wants to understand how things work.

Your job will be to understand how work gets done today, map the process from beginning to end, identify inefficiencies and repetitive tasks, and determine how that workflow could be executed by an AI agent.

You will become the bridge between the customer who understands their business and the technical team building the AI solution.

You don’t need to be a software engineer.

You need to be someone who can look at a complicated business process and say:

Walk me through exactly what happens next.

Then keep asking questions until you understand every step, exception, decision, system, document, and human interaction involved.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with customers and interview employees about their existing workflows
• Document and map business processes from beginning to end
• Break complex workflows into individual actions and decisions
• Identify repetitive, manual, and rules-based work
• Identify opportunities where AI agents can eliminate or reduce human involvement
• Understand how employees interact with ERP systems, websites, desktop applications, spreadsheets, email, documents, and other software
• Document process variations and exceptions
• Determine where human approval or intervention is required
• Translate business requirements into clear workflow specifications for the AI implementation team
• Help design AI-agent workflows and logic
• Test workflows and identify failure points
• Work with customers to refine and improve automated processes
• Measure the time, cost, and operational impact of automation
• Create documentation that allows workflows to be maintained and improved over time

Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms is a plus.

The best person for this role is someone who is obsessed with understanding processes.

You notice when someone performs a task in five steps that could be done in two.

You naturally ask:

• Why is this step necessary?
• What happens if this information is missing?
• Who makes this decision?
• What system is being used?
• What happens when the normal process doesn’t work?
• How often does this happen?
• How much time does this take?
• Could an AI agent do this?

You don’t accept “that’s just how we’ve always done it” as an answer.
