Oracle Fusion ERP + SCM

Explore 500+ workflows. Pick one, or build a custom one from scratch.

Where Fusion stops and the screen work starts

Fusion runs manufacturing, inventory, procurement and payables as one hosted suite, with REST APIs and FBDI templates for bulk loads. Both stop at the same edges. REST returns 500 records per call, FBDI cannot carry the supplier's PDF, the error-fixing workbook needs a Windows add-in, and ADF and Redwood pages swap task by task. Holds and approvals still wait for a person.

What agents do in Fusion

Fusion Payables

Creates the invoice from the PDF, attaches the PDF itself, matches PO and receipt and holds variances.

Receipts

Receives against the packing slip on whichever page, Redwood or ADF, the profile shows today.

Work Execution

Reads the dispatch list and reports operations, material and resources from the shift's records.

Correct Import Errors

Opens the Windows-only workbook, fixes rows from a table and resubmits the import.

Holds

Routes holds it may not release to the named approver with the PDF, PO line and receipt, then waits.

Long lists

Reads every row once and checks totals against the count the page reports.

The apps around it

The agent works in a session opened through your single sign-on, with that user's job roles. See the Product page for how it finds and checks each field.

Questions

Do we still need FBDI if an agent keys invoices?

For bulk loads and conversions, yes, it costs less per row. For the daily flow, the agent keys each invoice with its PDF and sends exceptions to the right person.

Which page does it use when a task has ADF and Redwood versions?

Whichever one the user's profile opens that day. Both are mapped, so a profile change does not stop the run.

Can it use Correct Import Errors if our clerks are on Macs?

Yes, on an enrolled Windows machine. The clerk stays on the Mac.

No prompts. No babysitting. No Integrations.
